Contract
 
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy our goods. You will receive an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
In the unlikely event that products are no longer available, we will advise you of this.
If products are not available, we may ask you to accept an equivalent substitute, - if not, a full refund will be made immediately.
 
How to place order
 
Place an order online where you may purchase through our secure 128-bit encrypted online ordering system via Paypal or, alternatively, you can use PayOffline or send a cheque.
All online prices include VAT at the present rate.
 
Delivery
 
Large Items and Kits may be delivered via Courier.
Small inexpensive items may be delivered via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Local Courier depending on weight and size.
Orders may take anywhere from 2-7 working days depending on availability.
If an item is no longer available you will be notified.
If any goods are damaged or lost in transit you must contact us immediately and to the carriers (if applicable) a claim must be made in writing within 3 days of the Delivery Date in respect of any damage of the Goods and within 10 days of the Delivery Date in respect of any loss of the Goods, which will enable the Seller to comply with the carrier’s
conditions affecting such loss or damage
.
Where Goods are delivered by carrier, unless the Goods are checked on receipt, the carrier’s documentation shall be endorsed “unexamined”.

Delivery via Royal Mail is not classed as missing until 15 working days has lapsed.
*Delivery to Northern Ireland and some remote areas may incur an additional charge. If this is the case, you will be informed upon ordering. Please  note that it may also not be possible to deliver certain items over 25kg to remote areas due to some courier restrictions.

Cancellation and returns

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery.
If you do cancel and have already received goods, you must return the goods to us at your own expense and goods must be packaged adequately to protect from damage.
Failure to return the goods will result in full payment being taken. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.

Faulty goods

If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights. Warranty is return to base and from date of purchase and not from date of installation. Warranty is with the customer as stated on the invoice and is not transferable to any third parties. 

Warranties and Liability

We (the Seller) shall be under no liability arising from failure to follow our’s or the manufacturer’s instructions (whether oral or in writing), inappropriate storage, improper use, inadequate maintenance or misuse of the Goods, the Seller warrants that:

1. The Goods will correspond with the Seller’s specification for them on delivery;
2. Except as provided in and subject to the provisions in clause 3 below (unless otherwise agreed between the parties) Gate kits, motors and immediate peripherals will be free from material defects for 3 years from the Delivery Date and
Intercoms and Enclosures free from material defects for 1 year from the Delivery Date; and
3. This warranty does not cover wear items that are listed in the Operations Guide relating to the Goods.
4. The Buyer shall be under a duty to inspect the Goods in accordance with the above. In the event of any patent defect the Buyer shall inform the Seller of such defect immediately on discovery but in any event within 14 days of delivery. In the event of a latent defect being discovered, the Buyer shall inform the Seller of such defect immediately upon discovery of the same. Any claim for breach of warranty by the Buyer shall not be accepted by the Seller unless the Buyer notifies the Seller in writing of the nature of the claim within the time limit specified within this Condition.
5. The Seller shall not be liable for any defect in the specification or performance of the Goods if such defect is due to inaccurate or insufficient information instructions or drawings being supplied to the Seller by the Buyer (or agent/employee/representative thereof) at the request of the Seller or otherwise.
6. Any warranty given in these Conditions shall not apply to any modification and/or repair carried out to the Goods without the Seller’s prior approval in writing.
7. Subject as expressly provided in these Conditions, all warranties conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. The Buyer shall not be entitled to reject the Goods where the alleged defect or breach of contract is so slight that it would be unreasonable for the Buyer to reject the Goods.
9. Where any valid claim in respect of the Goods is made by the Buyer the Seller shall be entitled to replace or repair the Goods (or the part in question), at the Seller’s sole discretion, refund to the Buyer the price of the relevant Goods (or a proportionate part of the price for the relevant Goods), and the Seller shall have no further liability to the Buyer.
10. The Seller shall not be liable to the Buyer nor be deemed to be in breach of contract if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the Seller’s reasonable control. The following shall (without limitation), be regarded as cause beyond the Seller’s reasonable control:

10.1 Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident;
10.2 War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, terrorism, civil disturbance or requisition;
10.3 Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority;
10.4 Import or export regulations or embargoes;
10.5 Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes (whether involving employees of the Seller or of a third party);
10.6 Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery;
10.7 Power failure or breakdown in machinery;
10.8 Death, Personal Injury and Damage to Property due to incorrect installation by the Buyer
